PG Event July 9th 2022

PG - An Evening with Fellow Parents

Saturday, July 9th from 6:00-8:00pm

At the last PG event, one thing discussed was a danger of parenting: raising our kids to be experientially rich but relationally poor. The three main questions we need to continually ask are:

• What am I doing to enhance my child’s relationship with ME?
• What am I doing to advance my child’s relationship with GOD?
• What am I doing to influence my child’s relationship with PEOPLE outside the home?

That last question is highly significant but often overlooked — our child’s relationships with other adults.

The truth is that the people in our life shape our life. Think back in your life -- who were the people who were instrumental in influencing you? Probably it was a coach, teacher, mentor, youth leader, or Bible study teacher. Other than our parents, other adults influenced who we were and what we did.

That truth is so important to us that we design our ministries to intentionally create opportunities for adults to be influential in our children’s lives. We should be so thankful that other adults care about our children and are speaking the truth into their lives. Together, we want to raise a generation of children who love God and influence the world.

We hope to see you as we share some great teaching, fellowship, and food! Please register by clicking the button to help us determine the food and childcare needed.
